Michael Grey became our second vocalist in late 2001 and we quickly hammered out several songs that had been in the works around the time that Nathan resigned. "Fight Vs. Flight" and "Just Drive" remain staples of our setlist today. "Chapters" was the one song that Michael contributed during his tenure, and it was actually a carryover from his previous band Copperfield. We added a trademark "big rock ending" and went for it. The song had a bit of an emo feeling that didn't fit with where we eventually took the band, but it was an important/meaningful song for Michael so we were glad to give it a shot.

This was also the first of three recordings we would do with Ev Olcott at Integral Studio. "Just Drive" also appeared on the "No Hold Back... All Attack!" Twin Cities Hardcore compilation.
